Piper’s Eczema Battle

Piper is a strong willed, intelligent beyond her years, almost 4 years old. She has suffered from mild eczema since she started solids at 6 months old. We’ve slathered her in every imaginable cream since she got her very first patch of eczema. This year she got a skin rash called Molluscum. I hope you’ve never heard of it. It is a nasty rash in the chicken pox family that lasts FOREVER, and I really mean forever, it can take up to 4 years to resolve itself! Unfortunately, Molluscum is known to aggravate eczema, which Piper already had an issue with. Poor girl got so uncomfortable, her skin was so dried out and itchy resulting in her scratching nonstop. We had her treated by a Pediatric Dermatologist 3 times before her body reacted to the treatment and finally fought it off. During the three months of treatments, her skin bothered her quite a bit. She didn’t sleep well and itched constantly until we discovered Skinfix Gentle Eczema Balm. The Eczema Balm helps her discomfort almost immediately saving her and the whole family from being unhappy. It isn’t easy on my husband or me seeing our daughter in pain. Piper is clear of Molluscum (thank goodness!) but still gets Eczema here and there; we’ve recently learned her food allergy to gluten can trigger it. Now that we know about Skinfix Gentle Eczema Balm I always have it in our bag so we can help with any itchy situations we encounter.   screen-shot-2016-09-30-at-11-21-45-am screen-shot-2016-09-30-at-11-21-59-am screen-shot-2016-09-30-at-11-22-08-am screen-shot-2016-09-30-at-11-22-17-am screen-shot-2016-09-30-at-11-22-45-am screen-shot-2016-09-30-at-11-23-10-am Alia Sullivan Photos courtesy of Jaime Hearts Photography
